概述

　　美国关于纺织品和服装的易燃性的法令主要为《易燃性织物法案》（Flammable Fabric Act－FFA）及其该法令下的实施条例。FFA是美国国会于1953年颁布的，并于1954年和1967年进行了修订。1972年，美国成立了美国消费者产品安全委员会（CPSC），负责制定和修改纺织产品易燃性相关标准。CPSC将FFA编入了CFR第16卷中，即16 CFR part 1609，并于1975年制定了以下主要纺织产品的易燃性标准：

• 服装用纺织品易燃性标准（Standard for the flammability of clothing textiles，16 CFR part 1610）
• 儿童睡衣易燃性标准：尺码由0至6X（Standard for the flammability of children's sleepwear: Sizes 0 through 6X (FF 3-71)，16 CFR part 1615）
• 儿童睡衣易燃性标准：尺码7至14（Standard for the flammability of children's sleepwear: Sizes 7 through 14 (FF 5-74)，16 CFR part 1616）
